Night Dives in Lembeh are pretty amazing, you’ll find all kinds of cool stuff that normally hides in the day; crustaceans, cephalopods and a whole myriad of other invertebrates come out to feed at night.
We have been playing with the idea of a black water night dive for a few years, but we finally got our heads together and setup our rig with hang bars at various depths and also 52,000 lumens of underwater lighting!
The results are interesting, and we will definitely keep doing it, so if you’d like to add a plankton chasing dive to your trip just let us know!
Squid are obviously great subjects and they have wonderful colours, but the real treat are the unusual animals you find mixed in the plankton. We have seen all kinds of baby fish and even a crab riding a jellyfish! A Lembeh Night Dive will not be the same again!
