Serge is from a small town in South Germany.  He has been managing diving operations for around 7 years in the Maldives, Thailand, Sumatra and Lembeh.  He first came to Lembeh in 2008 as a guest at NAD, he loved it so much and was desperate to live here, so he worked as the Manager at Bastianos Lembeh for 2 years.  After completing his contract there he moved over to NAD to ensure our guests have the best possible experience.  Serge has a keen eye and often guides without a camera as he still enjoys the discovery of new critters and passing on his expertise to our guests.

Serge speaks native German and French and quite some English.  He also speaks Indonesian and also Sangihe, a regional dialect for this area.

Serge shoots a Canon 7D in a Nauticam housing with Inon Strobes, and can teach you a photoclass if you wish to learn.  He also posts on uwpix and Digideep from time to time.
