It’s that time of year once again! Mike Veitch and Luca Vaime of the Underwater Tribe in Bali are here and will soon be conducting their annual underwater photography workshop here at NAD. For the next couple of weeks the Tribe will be taking over the NAD blog and posting photos, stories, and updates here as well as on their blog (found here). Many of you may remember Mike as one of the managers here at NAD from 2008-2010, he is now based in Bali where he is the co-founder of the Underwater Tribe and the Bali Academy of Underwater Photography. Each year Mike and Luca return to NAD to conduct a 7 night/17 dive underwater photography fun week, this years event will take place from 18-25 July. Mike has arrived early for the event in order to take “scout out” dive sites for the event and might even take a photo or two. Stay tuned for more to come, here is what Mike was able to shoot yesterday, a great encounter with a hairy frogfish!
