This summer we have taken our inventory of diving cylinders to over 200. We have added a whole bunch (4 dozen) of Aluminium 80’s to our existing inventory of 80’s and 100’s.
We have also just added some other cylinders to fit in with our new tec outlook. We have added Aluminium 40cu ft stage bottles and also 30cu ft for oxygen, and then following some feedback from our repeat guests, we have also added some AL 50 and 63 cubic feet – these are the same diameter as the normal 80’s, just shorter. Sometimes called a stubby.
Anyway, when new tanks arrive they still need to be cleaned to remove the dust from the factory- following the hype surrounding the new Batman we decided that Superman was the key to getting our tanks clean here in Lembeh. So we used our stubby superman to clean our stubby tanks. She cleaned them with a biodegradable soap and took an active role in ensuring that everything (and everyone) was well washed!
With regards to boring things like diving – it has ben exceptional recently. I think this year will be one of the best years Lembeh has had in the 5 years i have been here – and we are only just starting with the cold water.
