Today we had 3 Birthdays on one diveboat:
Joni (our guide), and Nicole and Markus, two repeater guests from Germany. On the other boat we had 2 Gentlemen reach their 600th dive, Congratulations Philip and Kim! So we all had lots of cake today!!
I joined for the 3rd dive on Serena Besar, which really felt to be an average dive after what we have been seeing recently, but we still had 2 nice Frogfish, 2 Thorny Seahorses, stonefish, various nudibranchs and mantis shrimp and a strange Blue Eyed Stingfish. Lembeh really does spoil you!
I was trying out a new 45 degree viewfinder from Nauticam and also some Inon z240’s on my 5D, and Paulus joined for a fun dive shooting an Olymous OM-D, with Marnes also joining Shooting the Canon 7D – our new guide, Gayus was guiding us and not appreciating us all swimming off in different directions. Pictures from the diveteam to follow after culling and editing in the next few days!
Oh, and I almost forgot, of course Joni got egged and floured, but he ran off too quickly to get a photo!
