[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]We’re constantly thinking of more ways to reduce plastic and have just implemented a few additional changes around the resort. With the opening of the bar, we’ve already introduced the reusable metal straws which are easy to clean and also make for a great souvenir, therefore we even have them for sale now!
Although we’ve always encouraged our guests to reuse their plastic bottles from the rooms, we wanted to cut down on plastic even a little more. Now we have water jugs in each room which the guests can refill at our water stations in the restaurant or bar.
Laundry bags have been replaced with washable cotton bags, next step will be to cut down on plastic bags which we use to collect our trash and replace them with biodegradable bags.
