[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]It’s time to introduce myself properly, so far most of you only know me as “the new Serge”. My name is Sonja, I’m from Germany and decided to move to South East Asia in 2010 to become a dive instructor. Back then, you would always find me diving with a simple point and shoot camera – therefore, it wasn’t very surprising that I finally completed my underwater videography course in 2012.
When I first came to Komodo in 2013, I immediately fell in love with the colorful coral reefs, all the tiny little critters and vast diversity of fishes. Shortly after that, I was lucky enough to get a job as videographer and dive guide on one of the Indonesian liveaboards. After almost three years onboard and countless hours of footage from allover Indonesia (Raja Ampat, Ambon, the Banda Sea, Alor, Komodo and many more), I’ve decided to take on a new challenge as a dive manager here at NAD Lembeh.
Since I’ve first visited NAD as a guest about a year ago, many many things have changed and improved: the pool and jacuzzi have turned into an oasis where guests can cool down and relax between dives.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”6362″ img_size=”large”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The new concrete jetty is much bigger with additional sunbeds and seating areas, perfect to enjoy the sunset and the spectacular view over the Lembeh Strait![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”6355″ img_size=”large”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Come and check out the most recent addition to the resort: a big koi pond which was designed by Simon, next to the camera room.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”6358″ img_size=”large”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]In order to make more space for all the precious camera toys, the tech dive room had to go last year. Now, we have some additional workspaces instead and new rinse tanks in the front.

Mustard Leafs, Rucola, Tomatoes and Radish are growing amongst all different kinds of herbs such as Basil, Parsley or Chives, ready for our amazing chefs to prepare delicious meals on a daily basis.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”6352″ img_size=”large”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
