Well, they are back. After a few reported sightings over the last few months where the Rhinopias has promptly disappeared afterwards, there finally appears to be one staying still for a while now. We are being tough on our rules about overcrowding and taking too many shots with this critter. We won’t give you 20mins to disturb him with a gazillion flashes. But you should get a few nice pics.
Once the Rhinopias gets a little bigger he will settle and not move much at all. One of the natural reasons them move so much as juveniles is that they have a voracious appetite, and they simply run out of food if they stay in one spot.
