Getting to NAD-Lembeh Resort is easier than you might think. Manado (MDC) in North Sulawesi is the gateway airport for the Lembeh Strait, and there are good flight connections from Singapore, Jakarta, Bali, and Makassar. Once you land in Manado, we’ll handle the transfer to the resort. Read on for everything you need to know about travelling to Lembeh.
Flying to Lembeh from Singapore
SCOOT operates flights four times a week from Singapore (SIN) directly to Manado (MDC). If you can route your international flight through Singapore on Singapore Airlines, you can check your baggage all the way through to Manado with just a short layover at Changi Airport — one of the most convenient connections available.
Flying to Lembeh via Jakarta
Garuda Indonesia operates multiple daily flights from Jakarta (CGK) to Manado. The two most useful departures are the 2am flight — which connects well with most international arrivals into Jakarta in the evening and gets you to Lembeh by around 8:30am — and the 9am departure, a good option if you’re overnighting in Jakarta. Garuda also offers a sports baggage allowance of 20kg, which is worth knowing if you’re travelling with dive or camera equipment.
International arrivals and Garuda both operate from Terminal 3, where two airport hotels are available if you need an overnight stop:

Batik Air and Lion Air also offer several flights daily from Jakarta to Manado. The late morning flight at around 11am is a solid option for passengers arriving into Jakarta in the early hours. Batik Air operates this route with business class seats available, and Lion Air offers a sports baggage allowance too. Note that Batik/Lion depart from Terminal 2 — you’ll need the free airport monorail or bus to connect from T3. There’s an airport hotel at T2 as well: FM7 Hotel.

Flying via Bali, Makassar, or Sorong
The next most popular connections to Manado are via Sorong (SOQ), Makassar (UPG), and Bali (DPS). Most of these routes are operated by the Lion/Wings/Batik group, with some Garuda options available. If you’re flying from Bali, it’s worth comparing a connection via Makassar against the Jakarta routing — it can be quicker and cheaper. Garuda tends to run on time; Lion Air flights later in the day can experience delays.
